Holorib
HOLORIB-composite profiles are sheathing, reinforcement and fire protection at the same time. The disadvantages of conventional sheathing such as transport, stocking, strutting, stripping and cleaning can be neglected. This steel element is available in galvanized version as well as in polyester coated thin version or common polyester coated version.
Technical specification
Material
Steel sheet type StE 320 galvanized with Z 275 zinc-coating according to EURO-NORM (total bilateral coating 275 g/m2), additional coating with various colours possible.
Dimensions
- Length of profile sheet up to 18 m
- Thickness of sheet t 0,75 -1,00 mm
- Tolerances:
- Length +/- 10 mm
Width +/- 1%
Height +/- 5%
- Length +/- 10 mm
The 3 Holorib-Novelties
- SUPER HOLORIB with nubbins (distance 40 mm) on the top chord for increase of the compound effect and the bearing capacity
- improved compound effect and joint sealing caused by factory-made closure of profile ribs (final anchorage coupling)
- Pre-punched interconnection profile for head bolt application
HOLORIB-bonded blanks are casing, reinforcement and fire protection at the same time. The disadvantages of a conventional casing such as transport, stocking, bracing, stripping the forms and cleaning can be neglected.
The compound blank replaces the common reinforcement steel of under layer in the field.
As disc a HOLORIB-ceiling saves the horizontal forces of wind and earthquake. Thanks to the form of profile sight-ceilings, cables and luminaries can easily be installed by using simple fixation elements. Depending on the optical requirements HOLORIB could be painted and be used as sight-ceiling.
The high restistance of fire (F90) is obtained without any additional protection treatment.
HOBORIB is a registered trademark in Belgium, France, Italy and Switzerland and it is patented as well as acknowledged and approved by various national and international test facilities as construction system.
Material/Production
HOLORIB-compound sheets are cold profiled on rolling trains with a maximum length of 18 m. The basic material is band galvanized wideband of steel in qualitiy StE 320-2 Z 275 according to DIN 17162 in thickness of 0,75 mm, 0,88 mm and 1,00 mm (tolerances of length: +/- 20 mm).
As a result from the enormous stress by forming there can appear waves on the surface. The use as sight-ceiling with high optical standard has to be discussed occasionally.
Reinforcement steel/quality of concrete
For additional effectiveness in bearing range and to avoid tearing, the following data are the basis:
Corrugated reinforcement steel (group III) σ = 460 N/mm², nets of corrugated reinforcement steel (group IV) σ = 540 N/mm². It is recommended to use concrete type BH with a minimum of 300 kgs concrete per m³. The compressive strenght of cube after 28 days is 30 N/mm².
As: Cross section of net
Ab: Cross section of concrete
The reinforcement in stilts torque has to be approximately 2 cm under the surface, length of bar 0,3 x length of field on each side.
Mounting
Overlapping on the sides, fixation has to be effected on the bearing flange with spedec-screws or set bolts in every second wave trough.
The sheet ceiling has to be removed from lying about objects. Water-, ice and oil-residues have to be removed. Concrete has to be equally arranged and oscillated. A sealing through longitudinal joint and traverse impact will avoid the leakage of the concrete milk.
Accessories
HOLOCIP und HOLOBAR - wedge-shaped fixation elements - save the over-head drilling.
Ceiling systems, tubes- and cable can be fixed easily and quickly.
With PE-filler pieces the ends of the ribs can be sealed.
